01Estimate or quote: which should I use?
An estimate is your best guess at the cost, and the final price can change. A quote is a fixed price for the work described. Tradespeople often send an estimate first and a quote or invoice later.
02Can I turn an estimate into an invoice?
Yes. When the work is done, use Turn into an invoice: everything is copied into a new invoice with today's date and the next invoice number, ready to adjust.
03Can I show labour and materials separately?
Yes. Add them as separate lines. UK builders can choose the CIS type to split labour from materials for the CIS deduction.
04Do I need an account?
No. Your estimate is saved in your browser while you work. A free account raises your daily limit, and Pro saves your clients and products for next time.
